Eat Right ! Be Bright !

Glen Taylor was truely blessed on Tuesday. A team of moms came up with the idea to bring back school lunches. The organisation was done really well, everything ran smoothly and seeing the kids have a healthy hearty meal was inspiring.
The kids had a fun time sitting together and share a lunch as a family.

Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity.

Food for Thought visits our class

Adele from Food For Thought visited our class today to teach us all about making the right choices when we eat. It was interesting to see how much sugar there are in some of our favourite cereal. Weet-Bix has by far less sugar than any of the other cereals.

We had a lot of fun with the activities sorting the different food into their proper food groups.

We also had to sort drinks according to their sugar levels. Wow, What an eye opener.
Water - still the healthiest drink, no added sugar.

Thank you for visiting us. We can surely make more informative choices when we decide on what to eat and drink.
We are looking forward to our class trip to Pak'nSave on Friday to do some research on other food products.
